Dreams, realities and jokes…
So, I recently alluded to “my non-existent YouTube channel.” when I talked about wanting to re-learn the basics of video editing.
I guess that’s something lots of young people have in their “To Do” list, I mean, you can get rich making utoobe vidjas.
(more…)I had to…
I haven’t touched a NLE video editor in years. (other than perhaps trimming some video files and whatnot)
Recently I felt like getting back into relearning the very basics. (which I never actually progressed beyond)
So I grabbed a cheap copy of Magix VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum (VEGAS Pro’s little brother) and a free copy of HitFilm Express (I thought Vegas exporting was slow…HitFilm taught me I was completely wrong)
hint: Vegas MS Platinum is sometimes on sale on Steam and Ebay has a couple legit sellers with amazing prices for “last year’s” version or older. (randomly ran across version 13 for like 12€, now 19€, 100% positive feedback; version 16 is around 40€, for a basic yet decent video editing program those are amazing prices)
Now all I needed was a reason to play around with editing something.
And the perfect opportunity arose…
(more…)It never ends…
Yeah, some aspects of life are quite Sisyphean.
In this case, hosting this website (and consequently the other stuff I have in the same host)
Yeah, yet another webhost move.
(more…)Anything is a good excuse for a random post
So, after years of owning the same printer, a few months ago I decided to buy refillable cartridges.
Undoubtedly a worthwhile investment, but I spent years postponing buying them. “Next round of Ebay shit, I’ll order them”, fast forward “Uhh…in the next round of Ebay shit I won’t forget the cartridges…”
(more…)I’m a sucker for cheap tools
Yeah, haven’t posted anything in a while, as usual.
And I’ve been thinking of diversifying my post content for at least 3 years.
So, I’ll write about cheap shit I buy.
Recently on one of the many Chinese online shops I peruse they had a sale for ratchet wrenches 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive, less than USD$2 (1.99) each.
(more…)Another webhost change.
The never-ending saga continues never ending…
This is technically old news as the host change was done a couple of months ago, but I feel like writing a bit.
So, on with the story.
After days of downtime on the stupidly cheap host I was using, I decided to change webhost, for the 1xxth time.
(more…)September 28th. Daylight…
If nothing shows up, your browser doesn’t like WebMs. Tough luck.
I just had to post that, it was the perfect opportunity.
Worldwide pandemic, hordes of unthinking zombies roaming the streets, September 28th. (I will admit I scheduled the post to go live at around the time daylight would start where I live)
A veritable unique, once in a lifetime opportunity, I just couldn’t let it pass.
Damn, I still remember playing the demo for that game (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis) a bunch of times.
I’m getting old.
Until next post!
And on the…somethingth day of lockdown my internet gave to me…
…a copy of Disaster Report 4: Summer memories.
The guys responsible for the Disaster Report series (ZZT for short) have a lot to answer…
First, ZZT3 features a story that takes place in March of 2011, with a huge earthquake and shit.

Spoiler alert motherf*ckers!
Then ZZT 4 was scheduled to be released on 10th of March 2011. (just to be pushed into April and then cancelled on 14th of March due to you know 3/11)
And now the reborn ZZT4 is released amid a fucking worldwide pandemic.
This cannot be a simple coincidence, because there are too many of them!
I’ll eventually post a rant about ZZT4 (and might also do ZZT1-3 some day)
Well, long time without writing anything.
All the posts since December were pre-written and scheduled.
So, I have yet to shitpost about the Wu Flu…the Kung Flu…the Chineses virus…SARS little brother…
SARS-CoV2.0 you can (not) coofance.
(there’s nothing interesting written in this post, only shitposting of the lowest calibre)
Sometimes weird queries wield the right result
So, as I said a few times, I like pens and other stationery stuff.
But I’m….frugal.
One thing I’ve been in search of for a while were Parker Jotter refills but with gel ink as opposed to the usual oil based ink.
