So, I recently alluded to “my non-existent YouTube channel.” when I talked about wanting to re-learn the basics of video editing.
I guess that’s something lots of young people have in their “To Do” list, I mean, you can get rich making utoobe vidjas.
Not so usual for not so young people. (at 33 years old, I’m as good as dead for the average internet user)
Yeah, the idea of opening a channel crossed my mind a few times along the years, I have a couple of logo ideas, a couple simple intros, a general idea of what I want to put in it but no set direction or theme.
Something in a “My crazy projects and ideas” theme kind of channel would be just great, but then…most of my projects are still on some notepad.
And I don’t do them for r€a$on$.
My current living arrangements don’t give me enough space to have a small workshop, renting a small cheap garage in some apartment building wouldn’t quite cut it as they don’t usually put >10kVA electrical installations on those (for a welding machine and stuff) and the noise I’d make is not very welcome either.
I did, a few years ago, consider renting a warehouse and just living there. While running a side business in the place and keeping my normal job.
Yes, I’m a bit of a lunatic, or just straight up a bit of an odd fucker.
But it wasn’t an idea without merit, let me expound, a decent ~150m2 warehouse nearby rents for about 100€ more than a shitty apartment, has the ground floor and the office area and normally a bathroom and shower(s)
On a warehouse that size the offices are normally around 30-50m2. Which is a decent space for one person or two. (about the same as the place I rent right now)
I could easily use the office area as living space, erect some basic framed walls to divide the space and all that.
But…that’s the world of fantasy.
Still, that silly plan would mesh up nicely with the idea of opening an Utoobe (I’ll spell it retardedly until I get bored) channel.
Plenty of space for a workshop, no problems with noise.
Bit of a problem with actually living there, but I’d guess they (I speak of the illuminati-gumermint-icecreamman consortium, of course) would take a while to find out.
The truth is I’m not completely sure the idea of the utoobe channel is not just a good excuse to do some video editing. Which, together with 3D modelling and programming (and being a well adjusted member of the general population) is something I kinda enjoy the concept of but have little talent for.
So I keep just playing with software, making intros and outros, silly logos and thinking of names for the channel, it fills up the boring parts of the free time. In the end the idea of starting the channel is just a joke.
Well, I guess this was just a post trying to get the “stupidest most meaningless post I’ve ever made” award.
