“What now?”
My shitty, over 10 year old laptop that I got for free finally broke.
That thing saved me a couple of times:
When my AM3 motherboard blew.
When my monitor died after 15 years of service.
One of these days I decided I should turn the laptop on as I hadn’t used it in a month or two. You know, do some Linux updates and all that.
Press power button, fan spins, no image.
OK, it does that sometimes, I only have to turn it off and on again and it boots.
Go to press the power button, before I reach it the fan stops making noise.
Still haven’t been able to bring it back to life.
The AC LED isn’t even on while connected to the wall.
The power supply works fine, I use it with other stuff.
I guess the laptop is dead.
Bah, I kinda liked to write on the thing, laptop keyboards are nice and quiet.
