Well, something I rarely do, bring up real world news and comment them. (mostly because it might take me onto discussing my world view and “I don’t wanna!!!”)
If you don’t want to read my opinion, don’t continue.
OK, OK, it wasn’t Nevada-tan (whatever her name may be), obviously (N-tan is what by now? 21?)
1st – What the heck is going on in Sasebo? (same town as Nevada-tan)
If we go by entertainment media, this must mean there’s something obscure going on! Possibly some evil organization or cult (I know, I know…these incidents are kinda usual in Japan, not necessarily the kids killing kids, but the kid going berserk and slashing some other kid)
2nd –
Is this stuff all that usual? Teenagers living alone?
Especially “very smart, with emotional ups and downs” teenagers? I know she’s a girl and being an emotional roller coaster is what they love to do, but still…
Somewhere else someone mentioned this (teens living alone) was actually kinda normal in Japan, especially on more urban areas.
And here I was actually planning to go around that area of Japan (Nagasaki and neighbouring towns) if I ever go there. Now my “going to” list is down to certain areas of Tokyo and as far innawoods as I can (and possibly Aokigahara and mount Fuji, just because I’m a weeaboo).
More seriously, am I the only one who, reading the news from around the world, is more and more actually thinking this:
Not necessarily on a “I want to kill myself” way either, a literal “Not on this planet, this shit’s too much, I’m fucking off to the moon or something”
Really and it’s not only thanks to the shit that appears on the news, even the shit you read/hear/see Joe Jerkoff and Susie Smellycunt doing day in day out, makes you want to scream “Stop the planet!! I’m getting off.”. Only positive thing is that thanks to the internet, I know I’m not the only one thinking this.
