Today I was in a “tinker with stuff” mood.
So I started by trying to fix my gamepad, I succeeded, then I spent some time playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 and thinking “Next, Silent Hill 2”, which has been on hold ever since I broke the gamepad, then “Hmm, this button isn’t answering very well to presses”, proceeded to open the gamepad and tinker a bit more, then back to PES, then some other little detail…well, long story short, I tinkered so much with the gamepad that I completely fucked it beyond repair. “Yay!” for me, no gamepad any more.
The other thing I fixed was the “handle” of my Wacom’s pen, crappy rubber grip thingie started going soft while using and crumbling and god knows what else a few months ago, seems to be a frequent happening on the Graphire 4 pen. Being the cheap-ass that I am, I’m not going to spend 30€ on a new pen; mostly because, excluding the rubber grip, the pen works as new, so… Now, I’m the sorta proud owner of a Wacom pen with a leather handle grip. Stiff as fuck, but seems to be reasonably comfortable, well at least it doesn’t change shapes 5 minutes into use…and looks kinda nice, I used a reddish-brown leather that I happened to have. As long as it works I’m happy.
Other random crap…Currently listening the the OSTs of Trinity Blood, never watched the anime or anything, started listening to them by chance, a pleasant surprise.
Talking about anime, “Nichijou” seems to be nice for a “random comedy” anime. Also, “Gosick” was nice for the first 4 or 5 episodes, then I realised it WAS a romance anime and that romance WAS the main point of the whole thing, despite what every description I found said. While I don’t completely dislike romance anime, let’s just say I can live happy without watching those, especially when I was expecting this particular one to have a bit more mystery.
Looking at the last few days, seems like I’ve been in a ranting mood…
