Rant 32145

Oh, haven’t ranted in quite a while.

I love to buy stationery stuff (yeah, notebooks, pencils, pens, etc.), so today I’ll rant about that.

Found 0.7 mm leads for 0.99€ 4 x 20 leads, I have a little “tube” of 40 Pilot ENO 0.7 mm around, but never got around to using them plus they are HB, the 0.99€ ones are 2B which is quite a rare find, at least around here, even more considering the price.

OK, now I had an ass load of cheap 2B leads, but sure as hell I’m not using my overpriced Pentel Graphgear 500 every day (costed me ~11€, at that price for a mechanical pencil it’s the kind of thing I keep sealed in some safe corner of my room). So I went and bought 5 0.7 mm mechanical pencils for 0.99€ (I guess people are starting to notice that I am a cheap ass), 2 are pink, 3 are blue, very plain looking, kinda look like some BICs that I had a few years ago.

So for less than 2 euros I have pencils (or a equivalent) for the next…3 or 4 years, maybe more?

Still my hunt for cheap 0.5 or 0.7 blue leads continues. (Why do I want them? No idea…)

I also found some 2 mm leads, a “tube” with 10 for 0.25€ this sounds too cheap so maybe I didn’t see it correctly. I should go there again to see if the price is right and buy one or two tubes, I have a certain predilection for 2 mm lead holders, unfortunately they are a bit overpriced and at least on my town I’m limited to either a BIC Criterium for 8€ or a Staedtler 788 for god knows how much, 4-5€ maybe?, leads by themselves are 3€ for 6. [edit] correction, it was a tube of 8 leads (2 mm x 90 mm) and indeed it was 0.25€, grabbed two of them a few minutes ago [end edit]

Better stop writing, right now my brain (that’s what I call the moderate and normal side of my personality) is telling me: “WTF are you ranting about?? This is probably the longest post you ever made and it’s about what?? Stationery stuff!!! You’re crazy, dude…you’re crazy.”

So…see you next time, probably tomorrow with more Project PewPew stuff.
