Believe if you want, but I’m still reading “At the Mountains of Madness”
Probably one of the factors for such thing is that I normally only read in the instants before going to bed, when both my eyes and brain are already tired. To help the ‘my eyes are fucking tired’ effect, I normally wake up at 10 or 11 in the morning and go to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning, around 80% – or more – of that time is somehow wasted in front of a computer.
Changing subject, sometime ago in some post where I talked about pens, I also talked about an idea to make a ‘storylined blog’, it was a wonderful idea at the time, I even wrote down all the details needed – for example a reasonably detailed description of what would surround the blogger – but then, a few days later my ‘fuck the world’ mood went away, the mood to write stuff for that blog went away too.
I won’t spoil too much of the idea, since the good mood – good for writing at least – might return, but the idea basically consisted on a series of posts, written by someone who was kidnapped and locked on a room with no mean to communicate other than that blog.
The crappy part is that I couldn’t decide if I wanted an ‘happy’ ending or not, especially since the happy ending I envisioned didn’t really suit my liking or agree with my personal beliefs, mostly because it WAS an happy ending and I hate those, fuck, it even included a positive final message, like those sappy ‘the world is a beautiful place, even if you never saw a shred of beauty in it’ phrases that people love to remind themselves.
Then I had the ‘not so happy’ ending, which pretty much was supposed to lead the reader into thinking that the poor blogger was killed or somehow disposed of.
I guess I did end up spoiling more than I wanted to, but…meh, no one visits this site anyway.
Useless Info, 19-Sep-2010: One of my main goals remains the same, release something that can be classified as a computer game. Over 10 projects and none succeeded, study to determine the reasons for such a rate of failure is still pending since the results of such study might destroy the world as we know it.
