So, my travel into 80s geek LARPing has come to an end last month.
Finally, was getting tired of listening to audio books.
180 words.
Considering the best I was finding to solve my problem were G41 motherboards at over 70€ or used motherboards at 60€.
I decided to buy a G41 MoBo for 75€ (or thereabouts).
That is until, while browsing for one, I came across a classified ad for a Phenom II X6 and a pretty decent motherboard for a very decent price (less than a 775 motherboard).
In the span of 2 years I went from a dual core CPU to a six core CPU. Not bad.
Still in an outdated platform but hey…that’s life.
Good enough to finally play GTA V and some other reasonably recent and heavy games.
Not that it means much changed, as I end up just playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: CoC and Fallout: NV.
But for now I have some real life things that are more important on the long run than having a updated PC and where I end up spending more money on.
I guess that’s all on this rant.
